Ultimate Pit Fight (Multiplayer) The roar of the crowd… the taste of blood… the crunch of bone beneath your heel… Make them tremble with fear, as you stake your claim upon the battlefield. Only the strongest will survive, and reap the sweet rewards of victory. When the tide turns against you, call upon your allies, for there will be glory enough for all. Welcome to the Ultimate Pit Fight…
Ultimate Pit Fight (UPF) is a casual format for Flesh and Blood, based on the following 3 foundations: • It's multiplayer • All FAB cards can be played • It's social. Politics, intrigue, backstabbery, alliances, and laughter encouraged! The following are the suggested rules for UPF, but ultimately it's up to you and your play group to determine how you want to play UPF. We encourage playgroups to shape the UPF rules to their own liking. (“No Yorick this week, thank you!”)
Deck Construction UPF uses Blitz deck construction rules, with the only difference being the inclusion of special non-retail promos. • Young heroes only. • 11 card inventory (weapons and equipment). • 40 card deck. • Up to 2 copies of each unique card. • Every official Flesh and Blood card is legal, including special promo cards like Go Bananas and Taylor. Just as with regular FAB, a deck may only contain generic cards and cards with the same class and/or talent as your hero card.
Card Legality All Flesh and Blood cards are legal for multi-player format. (This includes special promos such as Go Bananas)
Structure & Rules It's easy to get started with UPF! • You may only attack players to your immediate left or right • You may only target heroes to your immediate left or right • You can only defend yourself • A combat chain targets a single player. If the attacking player wants to split their attacks between multiple opponents, they must close the current combat chain, and then open a new combat chain targeting the other player they wish to attack. (eg. A player cannot play Head Jab, targeting opponent A, and then Open the Center, targeting opponent B, on the same combat chain. They would need to close Head Jab's combat chain, and then open a new combat chain with Open the Center targeting opponent B) All other rules are the same as in regular FAB, including the first turn of the game rule. (All players draw cards up to their hero's intellect at the end of the first turn).
Start of Game Procedure 1. Players come to the table with a 40 card deck 2. Players reveal their hero card 3. Players select the equipment and weapon(s) from their inventory they will use for the game 4. Randomly determine which player starts 5. All players draw cards up to their hero’s intellect, and turns proceed around the table clockwise
End of Game Procedure Not applicable. Play until one hero is left standing!
1 Flesh and Blood Uprising (or any other in-stock FaB) booster box goes to the last hero standing!
