MTG The Hobbit Pre-release Sunday Win-A-Box

Think you can out-build and out-play the competition? Prove it. This is a more competitive pre-release where the last player standing walks away with the ultimate prize!

Format: Sealed Pre-release. No Top Cut. 
Rounds will vary upon player attendance.

At the start of the event, each player will receive one The Hobbit Pre-Release Kit, which contains six booster packs you'll use to build your deck. Unlike constructed play, where you arrive with a strategically crafted deck, Sealed format has you build on the spot from whatever you open. You may also add as many basic lands (Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests) as you'd like, even if they weren't in your packs.

This event uses a Swiss pairings format with no top cut. The number of rounds is determined by attendance and will be played until a single undefeated player remains. Players are never eliminated for a loss; instead, you'll be paired against opponents with a similar record each round. The event ends naturally once only one player has an undefeated record.

Example: A 24-player event will require approximately 5 rounds to determine a sole undefeated winner.

PRIZING

All players earn one Play Booster pack for each round they win throughout the tournament. The sole undefeated player at the end of the event wins a Hobbit Play Booster Box OR a Hobbit Collector Booster Box if 24 or more players are registered!
